In Season 6, Episode 19, Cerise Bianca (now operating as Chrysalis) proves she is more tactical than Gabriel Agreste ever was. Instead of just akumatizing new victims, she is “regenerating” past villains into Ultrakumas.
The Powers of Riginarazione: The name literally translates to “Regeneration.” By targeting Gina Dupain again, Chrysalis has created a villain that doesn’t just turn people into coal or angels (like Befana)—she can literally de-age or age her targets.
Chrysalis’ Ultimate Goal: By turning Cat Noir into a baby and aging Marinette, Chrysalis is attempting to force the Miraculouses to detransform due to the physical changes of the holders. It’s a brilliant, albeit cruel, strategy that proves Season 6 is the darkest chapter of the Miraculous saga yet.
